    Microfilming Services

    Capitol provides microfilming services. Easy portability and flexibility, makes microfilming a practical and economical means of capturing data on document productions onsite and with tight deadlines. Capitol uses 16 mm Bell & Howell cameras to capture up to 8,000 documents per day per camera. Capitol currently has fifteen cameras available for productions. After the documents have been filmed they are scanned and digitized to standard Tiff or PDF images. These images are now suitable for output to our high volume printers, incorporated into computer files, converting to text via OCR, or ready for transfer to CD-ROM where it can be indexed and accessed readily.
